As our Geometry unit was coming to an end, our entire 5th grade tribe was able to observe all of the different types of polygons we have on our own playground here at CTE. Through that observation, students were able to ideate, sketch, and build their own 3D models of a Polygon Park! Students were able to use their learning from our Geometry unit, as well as their own creativity, to deepen their understanding of shapes and how they work together to create something that everyone can enjoy.
